Where is the store based?


Laurel's Butter produces in Bohemia, NY however you can find our products in retail stores. All of the locations can be found on the 'Where to Buy' section.




Do I need to refrigerate my butter?


Since I do not use any "crap" in my butters; preservatives or stabilizers, the natural butters have a tendency to separate. You can keep them in a cool dark place or the refrigerator. Placing butters in the fridge will keep them longer. Remember to stir before placing in fridge. Natural nut butters have a tendency for the oil to separate more if they are not placed in the fridge. I personally keep my butters out in the cabinet where it is dark. Those butters don't have a chance, they go so fast!




Why does my butter become hard when I put it in the fridge?


Some ingredients will make the butter hard, ex: coconut oil. Try leaving the butter out at room temperature before use.




Why does the oil separate on top of some of your products?


Oil separation occurs naturally in my nut butters soon after the products are made because I do not put any ingredients in the products to keep the oil from separating from the nut solids (Palm oil, fruit oils). As a result, these products sometimes require stirring prior to use. Please do not drain off the natural oil on top or you will end up with a butter that is dry, hard and difficult to spread. Try turning the jar upside down to let the natural oil distribute throughout the butter!




Why are there fats in your butter?


Natural nut butters have the GOOD fats for you! They are loaded with mono and poly unsaturated fats that help lower your cholesterol and lowers your risk for heart disease and diabetes...not to mention regulating your energy level, mood, and weight loss! wooohooo! A serving of Laurel's Butter will help keep you fuller for a longer period of time then all those other snacky foods. Remember, everything in moderation!!...I'm not going to lie, you probably won't want to put the jar down...it is that good :)




What is this store's return and exchange policy?


Since I am a small business, store credit can be applied to any purchase, there are no partial or full returns. If you receive damaged goods in the mail, please email us with the order number along with pictures and we will take care of it as soon as possible. Thank you!

At the moment we only ship in the U.S.
